  Please note ...........I cannot refund moneys for workshops . If you are unable to come there MAY be a  waiting list if the event is fully booked, so do contact me and perhaps someone could take your place.If this is the case then I will forward your money onto an event within the next year only. Please take out holiday insurance for week end events if you have any concerns.

Also note that often I do not put cheques into the bank till after the event..If this is a problem then please let me know :)

Circle Dance celebration for WOMEN

to celebrate IMBOLC ...Celtic fire festival.

...The light begins to return after Winter Solstice...the sap starts to run into the trees...the very first stirrings of spring...the snow drops push up from cold dark earth their white tapers to the increasing light. In the Celtic lands Imbolc fire festivals were held honouring the Goddess / saint Brigit - Goddess of the sacred fire, holy wells, healing and poetry.

Come celebrate your feminine selves..come light up your fire within!

With dances to invite flowingness, new beginnings and healing AND some GipsyRom, / E.European dances to help fire us up for the new year. Also a short healing ceremony to release the old patterns and kindle hopes for ourselves and our world in the coming year.

TheSpring Equinox marks the first day of spring- it is also named after the Saxon Goddess -Eostre .And the symbol of this time is the egg - symbol of life. Its time to burst into Aries energy and feel the quickening of the earth underneath your dancing feet!

Dances to shake off the restricting dregs of winter, ones to create balance, ones about planting and growth, ones to celebrate with joy this time of renewal. Some will be lively, some slow, some tricky, some easy, some traditional, and some recently created. BALANCE and RENEWAL are the keynotes ! Open to men and women .

bring a veggie dish to share for lunch. Hot drinks provided.

This event is for dancers with some experience , so the simple ones wont have much teaching , and there will be more challenging and faster dances too !   Dances from Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania, Armenia , Latvia ...

Bring some teatime snacks to keep you going!
